The Blacksmith’s Journal website offers a secure shopping cart for online ordering. Purchases by credit card will display on your statement to the business name Blacksmiths Journal.
All orders must be prepaid in U.S. funds through the shopping cart. Checkout for your order will take you to the PayPal payment gateway where you can use a credit card for payment. You do not need to have a PayPal account to use your credit card. We do not ship C.O.D.
PRICES ON OLD FORMS
We have published for over twenty years, and there are many old order forms circulating, so please refer to our on-line prices for accuracy.
Once your order has been submitted online, you may make a change on items to be shipped by submitting an email alerting us to the change within 24 hours of submission.
ORDERING DIGITAL PRODUCTS
Digital Issues of the Blacksmith’s Journal are available by electronic download as a softgood product and may be purchased in our store. There are no shipping charges applied for these. After checking out, an email will be sent to you with a link to the digital issues you have ordered so you can download them. You’ll need Acrobat Reader on your computer or another similar reader to view and print the issues in high quality .pdf format. Please note: The email link for retrieval is good for 72 hours, so be sure to download them promptly.
Instructional Videos of the Blacksmith’s Journal are now offered as a digital product in an MP4 format, so you’ll need a program on your computer like Windows Media Player or QuickTime to play it. There are no shipping charges applied to these. After purchasing a digital video, an email will be sent to you with a link to download the product. The link for retrieval is live for 72 hours.
Here’s a Tip: If you set up a customer account on our website, you can log in to access the product link from there after purchase, while the link is live, in the event your download is interrupted and you need to download the product again.
The cost of shipping is based on the weight of your order. Downloadable items are not subject to any shipping charges. For products that do need to be shipped, the shopping cart will show you the options to select for shipping before you checkout.
An automated email with tracking number will be sent to you when the order has been posted for shipment.
Our turnaround time in-house varies depending on what is ordered. Mail transit time depends on the service selected, holidays, and weekends figured into the delivery time.
International Orders: Delivery times are not guaranteed and are regularly subject to unexpected delays in some foreign countries. Customers with orders shipped internationally are responsible for all duties and taxes.
Christmas Orders should be submitted by December 15th to ensure timely delivery.
RETURNS, EXCHANGES & REFUNDS
Due to the nature of the products, we do not take returns or make exchanges. If you have not received your package when expected, please check your tracking number. Rejected packages will not be accepted for refund or exchange.
